A "boring" day

Remember when you were a kid and you had those days where you were "bored"? This is what Caleb does on those days... he builds these HUGE roller coasters and it takes 1-2 days. They are pretty cool! While Caleb was building this massive coaster, Lauren was keeping busy in her kitchen.

Caleb's Sleepover

I told you all Caleb has many celebrations... This is the last though. The biggest thing at this age is a "sleepover" Birthday party. We had 6 boys sleepover plus Caleb & Josh making it 8 boys all together. We went bowling first and Shaun lost the first game to Aaron. It was the kids against Shaun, but he came back to win the second game. What a great group of boys, it was a lot of fun!! They finally fell asleep around Midnight. Lauren loved all the attention.

Celebrating Caleb's 10th Birthday in Charlotte

Every year Caleb's Birthday seems to fall on the week we are in Charlotte for Soccer Camp. We even had Gigi there to celebrate her Birthday as well. Caleb ends up having many celebrations for his Birthday, which I know isn't fair but it just works like that. We took the boys mini-golfing (yet another tradition) and it was fun. I think the boys enjoyed the car ride home the most because they were loud, giddy and very silly. Christy and I had a good laugh.

It was a fun week and we had lots of memories!! I loved watching Lauren & Lilly. Lauren loved to be mother-hen to Lilly. Lilly didn't mind much. They were either holding hands, hugging, or kissing. Lauren had fun holding baby Zack even though he was just as big as her.

Oh, and Lauren had her first haircut by Aunt Christy. Of course, when we are down we always have to go to her beauty salon. Just wait until Lauren gets older, Christy will be so busy doing all of our hair and waxing the unwanted hair. Thanks Christy for always taking care of our beauty!!

Monroe Community Water Park

Wow, what a cool place in more ways than one. It was great for the boys to cool off in the afternoon after a full morning playing soccer in the heat of the day. Lauren & Lilly and baby Zack even enjoyed it too. Thanks Mimi for the pool pass!!

The Eagles Soccer Camp Rocks!

The boys had a blast at Poppy's Eagles Soccer Camp! It is a ritual every year. I think next year they may even stay all day. They got to play games, and Eli & Josh played against each other. One of the neatest parts of the camp is learning more about Jesus!! What an awesome example these soccer players are to the children. Thanks Poppy for letting the boys attend!!

Lauren had to get in on the action too...

Sand Pool with Mimi

We tried the Sand Pool on Ft. Eustis base for the first time with Mimi. The boys loved swimming and Lauren tried to be as big as them. She just wanted me to let her go and didn't mind when she would go all the way under the water. She seems to have no fear which scares mommy a bit. She even tried the slide that the boys did and loved it too! The boys wanted Mimi to throw them into the water but Caleb is getting a little to big to be thrown in. Mimi still accomplished it though!! We love you Mimi!!
