Summer Fun with Friends & Family

I know it's been a while since I've posted pictures or written. We are keeping busy with the fun things that summer brings!! We've had family visit, weddings, lots of baseball and so much fun playing with friends each week. One day last week, on a really HOT day, my boys decided to build a fort. It was huge, took up most of Caleb's room. They played with this fort for hours that day, spent the night in it and kept it up for a few more days. They even built a princess type castle fort for Lauren. They had so much fun and I had fun listening and watching!!

Almost a finished product, I wasn't able to get the last of it but it was bigger than this.


Sorry, Mimi this is the only picture I got of your visit with us!! We had such a blast, going to Ft. Monroe, Yorktown Beach, mini-golfing, Shaun and I got a date night!! Lauren wants to know why Mimi doesn't live near us?? Maybe one day!! I was so bad about remembering to bring my camera. I wish I had captured more. Thanks Mimi it's always a treat when you visit!!

My girlfriend Robin asked me if I wanted to start swapping kids once a week. Our kids get to have a playdate and we get a day to ourselves which usually includes cleaning and shopping. Well, this day I had her kids and they all are the same ages. It was so hot we had to do some water activities, just wish I had a bigger pool. They still had fun!!
